This gift voucher entitles the recipient to a three quarter day canoe trip on the River Wye.
Setting off from Kerne Bridge launch site you will head South down the Wye Valley along a fairly straight section of river. 15 minutes into your journey you will come to a small S bend that requires a little bit of concentration. Then another 15 minutes onto Lower Lydbrook to navigate around a small island. So the first 30 minutes can be quite exciting……..

Three quarter day Canoe Hire – Kerne Bridge to Symonds Yat.
The three quarter day gift voucher from Kerne Bridge to Symonds Yat takes about 4 hours. Consisting of comfortable downstream paddling. Our three quarter day trip runs at 11.30 and you typically finish between 16.00 and 17.00.
Once you have purchased the gift voucher online we will then send it to you via email. You can then download the voucher and either send it to them via email or print it off and give it to them in person. The voucher will have a unique reference code that can be redeemed on our website.
We will then send them confirmation of their booking via email. Further joining instructions will also be sent, like the preparation guidelines, route maps and safety information.
Our normal terms and conditions apply and vouchers are valid for 3 seasons from date of purchase.
You will ensure that all participants are aware that they enter into this activity at their own risk. You are expected to take care and precautions whilst on the river and use your own judgement to minimize the risk to you from hazards on the river.
We will provide advice on issues of safety before you or members of your party start your trip. You will ensure that all participants in your booking comply with the following conditions of hire:
– All people in a canoe will wear a correctly fitted buoyancy aid at all times
– Participants under 18 will be supervised at all times, each canoe must have at least 1 adult (18+).
– Any participant 13 years of age or younger will be supervised by an adult on a ratio of 1:1.
– No person who is pregnant is permitted.
– No person under 4 years of age or under 15kgs is permitted.
– No person with a chest measurement greater than 54 inches and no person over 130kgs (20stone) is permitted.
– All participants can swim a distance of 25m in clothing, or to be accompanied 1 to 1 with a swimmer who can.
– No person under the influence of alcohol or drugs are permitted. Alcohol will not be consumed in a canoe.
– All participants with any physical, medical, behavioural or mental condition or illness have informed us prior to the trip.
– All participants affected by sight or hearing impairment likely to affect safety have informed us prior to the trip.
– You accept that we may cancel or curtail your booking or exclude individuals in your party who fail to comply with the above conditions.
