This gift voucher entitles the recipient to 90 minutes canoe experience on the River Wye.
Canoeing on the River Wye is suitable for all levels of ability. Most of our customers have either never canoed before or have only done it a handful of times. Some of our customers will return 3 or 4 times a year building up their confidence and ability and taking on longer and more difficult sections of the Wye. The River Wye is ideal for learning how to Canoe and Kayak. It is relatively narrow and during the summer reasonably shallow in most places.
Hourly canoe hire is ideal if you only want to spend a short amount of time on the river. It gives you the flexibility to do as much or as little as you want. If you have never canoed before then this is the perfect introduction to paddling. Our instructors will give you some tuition on steering and give you an idea of how far upstream you can go.
Recipients will be given the option of which time slot they would prefer. 10am, 12pm (midday) or 2pm. The time slot is for 2 hours but they will be spending some of that time getting kitted out and having a safety brief. So they will spend 90mins actually on the river.
Once you have purchased the gift voucher online we will then send it to you via email. You can then download the voucher and either send it to them via email or print it off and give it to them in person. The voucher will have a unique reference code that can be redeemed on our website.
We will then send them confirmation of their booking via email. Further joining instructions will also be sent, like the preparation guidelines, route maps and safety information.
